Police arrest two suspects for drugs in Osizweni
The two suspects were found to be in possession of 15 parcels of heroin.
Police have arrested two suspects for being in possession of drugs in Osizweni.
On Tuesday, December 7, the suspects were apprehended as a result of an Intelligence Driven Operation at the Osizweni Policing area.
The operations was concluded with the assistance of Osizweni Crime Prevention members.
According to Lizzy Arumugam from the Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications unit, members went to a dwelling in Section A and arrested the two suspects for heroin possession.
“The suspects, aged 20 and 29, were discovered to be in possession of 15 parcels of heroin worth around R1 500.”
Both suspects have since appeared in Madadeni Magistrate’s Court.
