Residents in parts of Observation Hill have been without power at their homes and businesses since this morning (December 10).
Social media has been a hive of activity, with people concerned and trying to find out why there is no power in town.
The Electricity Department say they have identified the problem and are attending to it.
Power is expected to be restored by midnight tonight.
It is believed that power cables that were fixed in June have been cut.
