Dannhauser Local Municipality has advised residents that the licensing offices for both motor licensing services and driver’s licence testing centre services will be closing early for the December 2021 festive period.
The offices will close on Wednesday, December 15, at 12:00 and will remain so until Thursday, December 16 (public holiday).
On Friday, December 17, the office will have normal operating hours.
From Monday to Friday, December 20 to 24, the offices will close at 12:00 daily.
The offices will then remain closed from Tuesday to Friday, December 28 to 31.
Please note that all transactions need to be completely finalised so that staff can finish up the respective cash-up paperwork on the dates that the offices will be closing at midday.
There will be no driver’s or learner’s licence testing from Friday, December 17, until Monday, January 3, 2022.
However, applicants will still be able to do renewals for driving licences and professional driving permits, as well as learner’s and driver’s test bookings for January 2022 until Friday, December 24, at 12:00. The licensing offices will re-open on Monday, January 3, 2022, for normal operations and times.
