On November 26 and 27, Stepping Out Dance Academy dancers had the opportunity to show off their moves at ‘NDA Revolution 2021’ in Rietfontein, Pretoria. Some of the dancers had the opportunity to compete to receive their NDA Association colours, where they danced the following items:
1) Straight dance
2) Character / Interpretation dance
3) Impro
Dancers had to achieve an overall score of 80%-and-above for all three of their dances to receive their NDA Association colours. This was a challenging task, but despite everything, they did an amazing job.
The results are as follows:
Solos, duets and group dances:
° Mimi Lyrical – Diploma Gold
° Megan Lyrical – Diploma Gold

Teacher Marina de Beer had the following message for her students who didn’t receive their NDA colours this year: “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end. We are proud of each and every dancer.”
