VRYHEID KZN: Local dancers ‘groove’ their way to NDA Association colours

Huge congratulations to each dancer who received their NDA Association colours

On November 26 and 27, Stepping Out Dance Academy dancers had the opportunity to show off their moves at ‘NDA Revolution 2021’ in Rietfontein, Pretoria. Some of the dancers had the opportunity to compete to receive their NDA Association colours, where they danced the following items:

1) Straight dance

2) Character / Interpretation dance

3) Impro

Dancers had to achieve an overall score of 80%-and-above for all three of their dances to receive their NDA Association colours. This was a challenging task, but despite everything, they did an amazing job.

The results are as follows:

Solos, duets and group dances:

° Mimi Lyrical – Diploma Gold

° Megan Lyrical – Diploma Gold

° Zombie Lyrical Trio – Diploma Gold

° Mimi and Minke Acro Duet – Diploma Gold

° Zandri Jazz Solo – Gold

° Fierce Jazz Trio – Gold

° Speechless – Silver

° Can’t Stop The Beat – Silver

° Forever Young Acro Group – Silver

° Larouché Jazz Solo – Silver

° Larouché Acro Solo – Silver

Congratulations to Stepping Out’s very own teacher, Megan de Beer, for receiving the Revolution 2021 Best Adult Solo Trophy; and huge congratulations to each dancer who received their NDA Association colours.
