Khanyisani Mavundla from Tsakane Township, Ladysmith, was voted ‘Player of the Tournament’ at the under 13 soccer games last weekend. The games were held on Saturday, November 20, at the AG Magubane Stadium.
Teams from all over the Uthukela District took part. The tournament is held in all districts of the province and the winners from these districts will compete for the overall championship on December 16.

The players participating in this tournament stand a chance to be selected by professional teams like Amazulu FC and Supersport United FC. These teams send scouts to hunt for talented young boys.
The event is organised by Build it, in partnership with SAFA KZN.
