A 15-year-old boy was stabbed by an unknown male in the early hours of Sunday morning. The boy and his friend were allegedly on their way home from a local ‘shisanyama’ in Bhekuzulu when they were attacked. According to a witness, the friend came running back and cried that they had both been stabbed by the suspect. The witness and the friend found the victim lying in the road. When they reached him, they discovered that he had sustained a stab wound to the left side of his chest and had died at the scene. The suspect is unknown and there is no known motive for the attack at this stage. A case of murder has been opened at the local police station.
