The Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Sihle Zikalala, officially unveiled the tombstone of the late Dr Joseph Shabalala today (November 27).
The unveiling was held at the Ladysmith cemetery this morning.
Dr Joseph Shabalala was the founding member of world-renowned Isicathamiya musical group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. This group has won numerous awards for their music, including a number of Grammy Awards. Through his music, Shabalala fostered a sense of unity in this country.
