Ladysmith boxer aiming high
Nhlonipho Hlubi is now second in the Boxing SA provincial ratings
2019 Windsor Secondary matriculant Nhlonipho Hlubi from Roosboom is flying the Ladysmith flag high in the arena of boxing.
Under the mentorship of local boxing legend Thulani ‘Sugarboy’ Malinga, he seems destined for greatness.

Nhlonipho recently defeated Mpendulo Gumede in a featherweight match that was held on October 30 in Durban. Winning this fight saw him to go up to second place in the province’s Boxing SA ratings and 13th in the national ratings.
