A mountain bike race was held at Platrand Estate in Ladysmith last Saturday (November 6). The event was hosted for the first time last year as a pilot project. This year was the first formal race.

The turnout for this year’s MTB (mountain bike) event was amazing, as each category received over 70 entries. The race was separated into three categories, the main being 45km, then a 25km and finally a 5km fun ride.
