A local legend in Endumeni, Oom Inus Van Rooyen celebrates his hundredth birthday today.

Born in Greytown, Oom Inus spent many years in Dundee, where he was actively involved with the Rapportryers, founding Eventide Home for the Elderly and the church.

Oom Inus now lives with his children Willie and Hanlie Lemmer in the beautiful Cape coastal town of Stilbaai.
