NEWCASTLE KZN: ‘Fibre feud’ trial to resume on Thursday (UPDATED)

It is believed both the State and the defence teams will call on further witnesses to give testimony.

Despite three days and a reserve date set aside for the ‘fibre feud’ trial, the case will continue later this week (and possibly in November).

During proceedings in the Newcastle Regional Court today (October 18), State Prosecutor, Israel Zuma explained another state witness was unable to be present in court. Magistrate Colditz then had the matter adjourn to Thursday (October 21).

It is believed both the State and the defence teams will call on further witnesses to give testimony – two more reserve dates for the trial have been set aside for mid-November.

Editor – the initial report stated the case would resume on Wednesday, when it will in fact resume on Thursday
