Ladysmith KZN: Steadville Secondary bids farewell to matriculants

Prayer and words of encouragement were shared by the guest speakers

It was all glitz and glamour when Steadville Secondary School bade farewell to the matric ‘Class of 2021’ on Wednesday (October 13). A closed function was held in the school hall, attended by only the matric learners and very few teachers.

The event was graced by guest speakers Pastor Ndlovu and Dr Ayanda Ntshangase, who encouraged the students to have faith, study hard and do their best in their exams.

According to school principal Mr SJ Nkabinde, the aim of the small event was to pray and wish the matriculants good luck before they start their final exams. “We wanted them to know that we love them and we wish them all the best.”

Mathematics teacher Mr Khumalo was the MC for the day. He kept everyone entertained and also shared some words of wisdom.
