ESTCOURT KZN: Taxi overturns on the N3 near Lowlands

On scene reports indicate that as many as seven people were injured after a minibus crash this afternoon (September 13).

Emergency services received the alert at 13:50 and were informed that 15 passengers were on board.

When they arrived on scene, they found that one person was critically hurt, while six others were treated for minor injuries.

The uninjured had already left the scene.

It is believed that the driver, who was travelling on the northbound lane, lost control of the vehicle near Lowlands, allegedly due to a mechanical fault, causing the taxi to overturn.
