Ladysmith KZN: Police pounce on suspects after robbery and murder
Police recovered a firearm from the vehicle, which will be sent for testing
Two suspects have been arrested for robbery, and are possibly linked to a murder in Ekuvukeni as well.
While Vispol (Visible Policing) officers were responding to the murder scene, they received another report of a bus driver being robbed in the Tholeni area.
Police intercepted the robbers travelling in a silver Toyota Yaris in the area. A chase ensued and the suspects lost control of their vehicle, ending up in a ditch. They abandoned the car and fled on foot.
Police continued to pursue the suspects and two of the three men in the car were arrested.

It is believed that the suspects are linked to the murder.
Police also recovered a firearm from the vehicle, which will be sent for ballistic testing.
