Newcastle SAPS is investigating a theft incident, which occurred on September 25 at the ArcelorMittal Newcastle Works.
According to Lizzy Arumugam from Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications, a complainant reported that while he was patrolling the business premises, he discovered four suspects attempting to steal copper cables.
The suspects, aged 22, 23, 25, and 26 years respectively, were later arrested.
Investigations continue – anyone who might know more about this incident are urged to contact SAPS.
