Ladysmith KZN: Youngsters from Cape Town visit Siege Museum

Wagon Hill and the Burgher Memorial captured the children's attention

Two families from Cape Town, consisting of young children and teenagers, visited the Ladysmith Siege Museum recently. They arrived in Ladysmith, having motored up from Cape Town.

Their trip had been long in the planning and much anticipated, visiting many interesting places en-route before hiking in the Drakensberg and visiting the Anglo-Boer War (ABW) battlefields.

Wagon Hill and the Burgher Memorial captured the children’s attention, being very attentive and remarkably knowledgeable on the ABW. Late afternoon, they headed out to Dundee and the Anglo-Zulu War battlefields. Very enthusiastic visitors indeed!
