NEWCASTLE KZN: Labour Minister helps launch Vooma Vaccination weekend (WATCH)

The Amajuba District Mayor, Dr Musa Ngubane was joined by Minister of Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi at the opening of a Covid-19 vaccination site at the Newcastle Mall today (October 1).

Minister Nxesi and Cllr Ngubane cut the ceremonial ribbon at the site, as part of government’s ongoing programme to promote the importance of being vaccinated against Covid-19. Officials have called this initiative a life-saving campaign.

Residents are urged to take advantage of the Vooma Vaccination weekend and receive the Covid-19 jab. The mall’s vaccination site is open for today, and another vaccination site will be set up in Blaauwbosch tomorrow.
