We have a jam-packed week ahead of us at Vryheid High School (VHS). The matrics will finish their prelim exams and blow off all the pent-up steam this Friday at their matric farewell, an event that promises lots of glitz and glamour. The rest of the school will end the term with a Colour Festival. We were truly blessed last week to have had the ‘Men of the Word’ at our school. Their testimonies changed and inspired many lives. We finished our short week with Heritage Day festivities, where learners and teachers alike dressed up accordingly. Carmen Barsdorf has been included in the KZN netball squad. Carmen has been a star on the netball court and her commitment has been duly rewarded. She plays with so much passion and we wish her all the best for the upcoming provincial tour.
