There were a bunch of Wild Hogs in Wimpy last weekend, but it’s not what you think.

These Wild Hogs are an informal group of bikers who go on a 700km ride around KwaZulu-Natal once a year in memory of a friend. The group is made up of members and ex-members of formal clubs.

They also invite rider friends to join them on their yearly trip. Each person, rider or pillion (passenger), also chips in R400 to the kitty, which is then donated to charity.

This year’s money is being donated to the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), which is powered by volunteers and does an amazing job.

The Wild Hogs rode through Dundee last weekend during their trip and stopped off at the Wimpy for a pit-stop.
