Ladysmith KZN: Awards for ladies and gents who ‘protect and serve’

The district recognised SAPS officials for their hard work and dedication

It was a day of glitz and glamour, as police officers ‘dressed to kill’ for an awards ceremony held at Mt View Lodge recently. The district recognised officials for their hard work and dedication.

SAPS staff from throughout Northern Natal attended.

The men dressed up in their three-piece suits and formal shoes, while the ladies wore stunning ballroom gowns and heels.

The event kicked off in style as everyone was welcomed by Brigadier Francis Bantham (Acting Uthukela District Commander). She said it was amazing to see how beautiful her team looked out of their normal work uniform. Brigadier Bantham had the members up on their toes as she sang and danced.
