NEWCASTLE KZN: Renovation continues at fire-damaged CBD outfitters (WATCH)
The fire has since been determined to be the result of an arson attack by 'unknown parties'.
Following the store’s destruction in a fire last November, clothing outfitter, Zacks International is set to re-open later in the year.
Sumayya Omar, speaking on behalf her father and the owner, Zacharia ‘Zacks’ Omar, explained the outfitter would return to its original Allen Street premises once the renovations were complete from mid-October onward. New concepts and an in-store coffee bar are being envisioned.
