Ladysmith KZN: Youth Light NPO thanks those who helped make a difference

They visited Luthando Orphanage, where they handed over clothing, toiletries and food

The Youth Light non-profit organisation last month (August) reached out for help, as they wanted to visit Luthando Orphanage in Matiwaneskop.

They say that people’s response to their plea was beyond expectations, as they received more than anticipated. On August 28, they visited the orphanage, where they handed over clothing, toiletries and food, etc.

Youth Light deputy chairperson Ms Nokubonga Zwane said they are extremely grateful to all those who came on board and pledged their support. “It was heartwarming to see the smiles on the children’s faces. It’s humbling to know that even though we do not have much, we were still able to make a difference in other people’s lives.”

“Thank you and siyabonga to everybody who donated to make all this possible.” said Zwane.
