Today (September 3), six armed men stormed into the Ekuvukeni post office and demanded cash. They made off with an undisclosed sum of money.
The men sped off in a getaway vehicle, but didn’t get very far….

Police immediately responded to the incident and intercepted the robbers. A shoot-out ensued and one of the suspects was shot dead. The other five were arrested.
The stolen money was recovered and the getaway car impounded by police.
The arrested suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
