On Saturday (August 28), 51 golfers braved the rain to play in the Pick n Pay Vendors Golf Day.
The first tee-off was at 09:51, with our local lady golfers taking to the course.
Visitors and sponsors of the R100,000 hole-in-one prize money – Mike McGuinness and Brett Montanari, along with Ian Marx – made up one of the teams that participated.
Unfortunately, due to the weather that saw rain and sleet falling, the sponsored day had to be postponed until further notice.
Golfers enjoyed the music and supper that was provided by Mr Marx. A big thank you to Ian Marx, the sponsors and members for their continuous support.
