ESTCOURT KZN: Excitement for young and veteran players at Skaapdag

51 golfers took to the course, playing a Better-Ball format

It was all fun and excitement on Saturday, especially for Gordon Chotu, who hit a hole-in-one on number 16, resulting in him buying a round of drinks for all the members.

51 golfers took to the course, playing a Better-Ball format.

Winners on 48 points were Denal Budhu and Charl Shaanick.

Second place, on 45 points, went to Reuben Goosen and Rijk Neethling, with third place going to Warren Smith and Gordon Smith on 44 points, and fourth on 44 points to Kamy Baboolal and Gordon Chotu.

Closest to the pin on hole number three was Arnold Fortmann, hole number seven Naveen Rajcoomar, hole number 12 Shane Mothilal, and a hole-in-one by Gordon Chotu.

On August 28, Estcourt Golf Club will be hosting the Pick n Pay Estcourt Vendors Golf Day. Members were also given the opportunity of playing for an all-paid golf game worth R5000 at The San Lameer Golf Estate; winners to be announced.
