VRYHEID KZN: Police recover millions of rands worth of dagga

An estimated R3 million worth of dagga was recovered this morning (August 24). A truck was transporting the drugs from Pongola towards Vryheid / Louwsburg when various police units swooped on the suspects. When police searched the vehicle, they found 33 bales of dry dagga which weighed in at over 1500kg. Two suspects were placed under arrest for dealing in dagga and are expected to appear in the Louwsburg Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (August 25).
