NEWCASTLE KZN: Unforgettable shopping experience promised at next craft market

"On the craft front, you can expect to find everything from hand-poured candles to exotic succulents..."

Tara Wood, organiser of the Arbor Park Craft Market, said locals are ‘in for a treat’ next Saturday (August 28).

The next instalment of the market is being described as a special occasion because it will incorporate two events on the same day. Wood explained the Craft Market and a Food Fair have been organised separately to keep vendors and visitors safe through social isolation.

She expects 20 craft vendors and 20 food vendors next weekend.

“On the craft front, you can expect to find everything from hand-poured candles to exotic succulents. Expect the tastiest desserts and the highest quality coffee at the food fair.”

Wood has encouraged residents to visit the craft market but to also follow Covid-19 guidelines – wearing a face mask, practicing social distancing and sanitising. Pets will be welcome but owners must clean up any mess.

Ample, safe parking will be provided at the Arbor Park Grounds. Visitors must use the entrance on Elm Street (on the same street as Arbor Park Primary School).
