Newcastle East will experience water disruptions throughout the day (August 18), as a result of repairs to the inlet at the Braakfontein Reservoir.
Newcastle Municipality has indicated that water will be off between 8:00 and 16:00 in Madadeni, Osizweni, Blaauwbosch and the surrounding areas.
Municipal Head of Communications, Mlungisi Khumalo conveyed the municipality’s apologies for the inconvenience caused by the repairs and urged residents to make necessary arrangements to ensure they have water to last the entire day.
