Ladysmith KZN: Licensing Section closed due to staff testing positive for Covid

A decision has thus been made to temporarily close the Licensing Section with effect from today (August 17) until all health and safety protocols have been conducted and concluded.

Alfred Duma Local Municipality would like to confirm that one of the municipal employees based at the Licensing Section has tested positive for Covid-19.

A decision has thus been made to temporarily close the Licensing Section with effect from today (August 17) until all health and safety protocols have been conducted and concluded.

“We urge all employees who render services at the Licensing Section not to be on duty as from August 17, but may continue to work from home as required until it is safe to return to the building,” says the municipality.

The public is required to also stay away from the building until further notice.
