An electrical fault has left the areas of Dannhauser and Durnacol without water for the past two day.
Technicians are currently attending to the fault, which has affected the Durnacol Treatment Plant.
However, there is no time line for when the water supply will be restored.
Parts of Dannhauser and Durnacol ran dry on Friday as a result of the fault. Other streets which still had some water, then ran dry yesterday.
Amajuba District Municipality has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
