Ladysmith KZN: No water for over 3 months in Ekuvukeni

Residents have had to fetch water from the river

Ekuvukeni H-Section has been without water for over three months.

An angry resident says that every time they contact the uThukela Call Centre to report the issue, they are told by consultants that the message will be passed on to someone responsible for that particular area.

…after that, nothing is done.

The woman says they have to fetch water from the river.

uThukela District Municipality spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza issued a statement that the issues were resolved on Wednesday (August 11) and that normal water supply should be achieved by the weekend.
