Municipal electricians are currently attending to several faults which have left a large swathe of Dundee without electricity.
The electricity went off at around 2am and has not been back since. A time frame for when the lights will be restored cannot be given but hopes are that the power will be restored by this afternoon.
Electricians have however confirmed that areas on the ”outer ring” are currently affected.
