Newcastle KZN: SAPS arrest teenager for theft out of a motor vehicle
According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications Officer Lizzy Arumugam, the complainant fell asleep inside his Nissan Hardbody.
Detectives are investigating a case of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred on Wednesday, July 28, at the Iscor flats in Centre Street.
According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications Officer Lizzy Arumugam, the complainant fell asleep inside his Nissan Hardbody.
“The suspect, a 17-year-old, then stole the car key that was inside the vehicle,” explained Arumugam.
The suspect was arrested and charged with theft from a motor vehicle.
The key is worth R20,000.
