Newcastle KZN: Newcastle SAPS to investigate fraud case
Only a receipt came out showing that he had withdrawn cash, which he did not receive.
Newcastle detectives are looking into a case of fraud that occurred on July 29 at the Amajuba Mall ABSA ATM.
Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications Officer Lizzy Arumugam said the complaint was at an ATM withdrawing cash when his bank card was ‘swiped’.
“Allegedly, only a receipt came out showing that he had withdrawn cash, which he did not receive.”
Police investigations are ongoing.
