DUNDEE KZN: Fire and Rescue personnel get the jab

All personnel have received the Covid-19 vaccine in a bid to ensure that all steps are taken to protect the men and women from the virus.

Like all emergency services, firemen and women are on the front line when it comes to fighting the Covid-19 scourge.

It was with this in mind that Endumeni’s Fire and Rescue Services, along with Disaster Manager Phumlani Ntombela, ensured that all personnel have received the Covid-19 vaccine in a bid to ensure that all steps are taken to protect the men and women from the virus.

“Since Covid-19 is now declared a national disaster, we will make sure that our town is continuously disinfected… so we encourage our people to also play their part and get vaccinated,” Mr Ntombela said.

On Monday, SAPS members in Dundee started receiving their jabs but the Courier was not allowed to take photographs.
