Power has been restored to the Ezakheni Water Treatment Works (WTW) by Eskom. The plant is now in the process of starting up and water will be supplied to the affected areas.
The Ezakheni WTW was not operational due to Eskom power supply interruptions.
The transformer supplying the plant caught fire in the early hours of the morning.

Areas that are supplied by this plant will be affected. These include Acaciavale, Ezakheni Township, Ithala Pieters Industrial Area and parts of Steadville.
