NEWCASTLE KZN: Municipality issues urgent notice regarding services

Head of Communications for Newcastle Municipality, Mlungisi Khumalo has confirmed the municipal offices will remain closed today (July 13) until further notice.

“However, emergency services and essential services will continue working. The rates hall will also remain closed until further notice.”

Khumalo has urged residents to keep their refuse bags in their premises until further notice.

“Please utilise the municipal emergency lines for urgent matters. Those who wish to make payments are urged to use EFT or Easy Pay methods,” he concluded.
