Law enforcement officers remain on high alert in town
“We are open and praying,” said one store manager this morning (July 13), echoing the sentiments of dozens of other staff members who returned to work after a day of violent protests and looting yesterday (July 12).
However, majority of the businesses in the main street remain closed.
Severe damage was caused to a number of retail outlets yesterday.
Law enforcement officers remain on high alert in town.
Last night community members joined forces with the local police and security company to patrol areas and ensure no more violence.
