ESTCOURT KZN: Calm prevails over the town

With all the businesses within Harding Street closed and major retailers closing early, the central business district (CBD) is relatively quiet today (July 13).

Two of the stores in the main street that were damaged and looted yesterday still bear the scars of the ordeal.

Alexandra Street Taxi Rank is cordoned off and monitored by police.

There is also a strong police presence in town.
