Ladysmith KZN: Wandering cow attacks bin bag before rubbish truck arrives

The refuse in the bag was scattered all over the place and the resident had to clean it up

A resident in Bengal Road is up-in-arms about the cattle that are always roaming the streets.

Friday is the day the municipality picks up refuse in the area.

This week Friday (July 9), the resident had neatly left his rubbish bag outside before the truck arrived, but to his shock, a cow ‘arrived’ first and destroyed the entire bin bag.

The refuse in the bag was scattered all over the place and the resident had to clean it up, which made him late for work.

The frustrated resident questions why the municipality allows cattle to wander freely in residential areas. “This is not acceptable!” he fumes.
