ESTCOURT KZN: Food for Life marks a record achievement

Madan Mohan Das and Rakesh Jaychand are proud to announce that the Food for Life Estcourt branch has reached 10,000 meals.

The dedicated Food for Life Estcourt team continues to ‘smash’ their goals as they curb hunger in the community.

A recent distribution did not only bring the total to 1000 meals in one month, for the first time, but also reached a remarkable milestone of 10,000 meals since the initiative was started.

“Our branch would like to dedicate this achievement to Paramdham Das. He was instrumental in starting the distribution of meals to the needy in Estcourt. I am truly indebted to my volunteers and all our sponsors. This would not have been possible without our volunteers, who sacrificed so much of their time and energy, and the kindness of our sponsors,” said Lokeshwar Das.

500 home-cooked vegetarian meals were distributed by Food for Life Estcourt partner Edith Lite in Chievely.
