Update: The municipality has identified the location of the fault – between Leeu Street and Carlton Road. They are in the process of digging up the cable.
Residents in the Observation Hill area have been left stranded yet again, without power and water.
A power outage hit the area during the course of last night (June 30), leaving residents in darkness.
There is also no water supply due to no electricity for the water pumps to operate.

Some areas have had their power restored, but others have not.
Residents are hoping that the lights come on again soon, not like the last time when they went for over five days without power.
