Alfred Duma Local Municipality would like to inform the public that all municipal libraries are closed.
This is in line with the state president’s address on June 27, and Government Gazette No. 11299 as promulgated by Minister of COGTA Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma (also on June 27), which states that library services are prohibited from June 28, 2021, until July 11, 2021.
All patrons are requested to keep the books they have taken out with them; no fines will be accumulated.

The municipality says that it deeply regrets this inconvenience, but these measures are to protect all of the town’s citizens. Remember to comply with Covid-19 health and safety regulations.
