Two men were denied bail and will remain in police custody after a second appearance in the Colenso Magistrate’s Court for the murder of wheelchair-bound farmer Neil Mckay.
The suspects, who are believed to be between the ages of 18 and 23, made their first appearance in court on May 27.

Mckay was found dead in his wheelchair on a farm in Winterton on April 10 this year. It is believed that his mother found him with his hands tied behind his back and bruises on his neck.
Mckay had been brutally murdered at the age of 46.
