DUNDEE KZN: Nquthu shrugs off MEC’s ‘interference’ with horse riding event

The parade included colourfully dressed local ladies and a marching band.

Despite being put under administration recently by COGTA MEC, Sipho Hlomuka, Nquthu Municipality went ahead with the hosting of their first rural horse riding event.

It was a colourful and jolly affair that had already been planned before the ‘interference by the ANC’ as per the IFP who run the Nquthu Municipality. Mayor IL Shabalala was seen on horseback during the parade through Nquthu town on the horse ‘Mlilo’ which is owned by Dundee July top contender, Menzi Ngobese. The parade included colourfully dressed local ladies and a marching band.
