ESTCOURT KZN: Changes with second dose of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine

It is encouraging that senior citizens heeded the call to come to our vaccination sites for vaccination and our plea goes out to all those eligible but not yet vaccinated to take advantage of this opportunity before we move to the next phase.

Citizens that have already been vaccinated are kindly informed that there have been changes implemented a week after they were vaccinated and have affected some of them.

When the Department of Health started second phase of vaccination programme, the two dose Pfizer vaccine was to be given 21 days apart and, after a week, had to be implemented at a 42-day interval between doses meaning that some return dates were changed.

Below are the correct return dates and assistance in bringing these changes to the affected citizens will be appreciated. Vaccination date – May 17 to return on June 28.

Vaccination date – May 18 to return on June 29.

Vaccination date – May 19 to return on June 30.

Vaccination date – May 20 to return on July 1.

Vaccination date – May 21 to return on July 2.
