Ladysmith KZN: Silindokuhle Secondary learners stage protest
They held banners aloft and marched through the streets
This morning (June 14), angry students from Silindokuhle Secondary School took part in a protest from Tsakane to Murchison Street. They held up banners and marched along, led by Public Safety, RTI and SAPS officials.
The learners stood in front of the Department of Education buildings in Murchison Street, demanding that their school be allowed to open. One learner was heard saying, “We have the right to education, but our school has been closed for almost a month now.”
