The Golf Club committee and players would like to thank Richard Catlett for sponsoring Saturday’s 4BBB competition which, despite the icy start to the day, attracted 37 players.
Winners of the day were Sifiso Kunene and Razak Khan on 48 points. Joe Khumalo and T Maphumulo (43 points) finished second on a count-out from Naomi van Huysteen and Hlengiwe Hlongwane, also on 43 points. This weekend, the club will be hosting the Club Match Play Championships on Saturday and Sunday for the men and ladies.
The committee and members would like to welcome Pinky Chetty, who is now operating the Golf Club kitchen. There are menus at the bar and she has a variety of delicious meals at reasonable prices. Her restaurant is open on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 7pm.
