Alfred Duma Local Municipality will temporarily close the Ladysmith Main Municipal Library with effect from June 14, 2021, to September 14, 2021. The temporary closure is due to an urgent need to maintain the facility through renovations which will be undertaken for the next three months.
The public is advised to note that all services rendered by the library will not be discontinued, but will be transferred to the Steadville and Agra Crescent libraries. Therefore, an appeal is made to utilise both these libraries during the closedown period.

Council would like to urge members of the public to observe and comply with all Covid-19 health and safety protocols in place within all facilities involved with the provision of municipal and other services.
